Clinical Preceptorship
AMSURA offers a clinical preceptorship at our facilities in Charleston, SC. This program is designed for physicians to get first-hand experience with our very busy acute pain management service to see how its run as well as get hands-on ultrasound experience with our talented faculty.
The program will include the following:
Didactic Lectures
Hands-on ultrasound anatomy training
Observation of ultrasound-guided blocks
Post-op rounds
Program design and set-up including: documentation, billing information, use of protocols, supplies, cost management, education and contract negotiations.
Preceptorships are a minimum of 2 days and maximum of 5 days.
Preceptorships must be scheduled a minimum of 2 weeks in advance (based on availability).
Fee Schedule:
$500 per day (2 day minimum) and paid upon registration
Travel expenses not included
